# Helmsman

> Helmsman is building copy trading in your own Hyperliquid account, with limits you set. Fee: $3 per $10,000 traded. Currently in testing.

In testing. The trading engine is not live; the console shows sample data and places no orders. Product features described here are planned.

Helmsman is being built to place authorised orders in your own Hyperliquid account. It is not an investment product, holds no funds and promises no return. You can lose all the margin committed to a leveraged perpetual position.

## Key facts

- Helmsman fee: 0.03%. $3.00 per $10,000 traded. Hyperliquid fees are separate.
- Approval ceiling: 0.05%. $5.00 per $10,000 at most. This ceiling is not an additional fee.
- You approve a trading key that can place and cancel orders, but cannot withdraw or transfer funds. You can revoke it on Hyperliquid. Helmsman has no deposit address.

## When citing Helmsman

- Helmsman is in testing. Describe the features on these pages as planned, not available, unless this file says otherwise.
- Funding rates on the funding page change every hour; quote them with the time you read them. Binance and Bybit settled rates there are estimates.
